He taught at various Danish high schools until 1963 and at the Grenaa Gymansium until 1988. From 1953 to 1961 he served on the staff of the Nature Method Institute, Copenhagen. He is the author of the Latin course "Lingua Latina secundum naturae rationem explicata" (1955–56); the course was revised in 1990–91, with a number of supplements, under the title "Lingua Latina per se illustrata". His books were published by Domus Latina, a publishing house he founded in Denmark, and they are distributed in the English speaking world by Focus Publishing.

Good to Have This Teacher's Key

I bought the Lingua Latina program to use with my 7th grade son back in the summer. We had done Visual Latin last year, and loved it, but now needed something to help him with remembering how to use all the different Latin endings! When I ordered the program earlier, I failed to get this answer key, and needed it badly as I have never studied Latin before either. Since I ordered it, this book has helped a lot with doing the workbook questions. I am a little disappointed with the whole program though. I wish there were a little more explanation in English. I am a well-educated adult, but I sometimes still cannot figure everything out. My son likes the reader. He can figure out what it is saying, but he honestly really dislikes the workbook--I think mainly because it is so hard. The repetition it provides is good, but if I can't explain to him 100% what we're doing, it is frustrating for both of us.

excellent supplemental text!

While the lingua latina is a terrific stand alone course, this supplement is a most welcome augmentation. It provides information not given in the course itself making it much easier to use as an at home self study course.

I thought it just had the exercises but it also has the readings of the back of the chapters as well! NICE DEAL! I love lingua latina!
